Type A
Surfaces:
High-pressure
laminate material in solid colors, decorator colors or wood grains.
Materials will be selected from samples provided by South Texas Woodmill
Inc. All materials will meet or exceed the latest NEMA Standards for GP 28.

All exterior surfaces or exposed module ends (1" thick)
All exterior surfaces of exposed module backs (3/4" thick)
All exterior surfaces of door and/or drawer fronts (3/4" thick)
All exterior surfaces of module tops & bottom less than 72" above finished
floor (3/4" thick)
All exterior surfaces of knee‑space, legs and/or skirts. (3/4" thick)
All interior surfaces of open units.
Type B and/or C
Surfaces:
White,
polyester laminate; this material will meet or exceed latest NEMA Standards
for GP type, and/or white color, high-pressure, cabinet liner material which
will meet or exceed latest NEMA Standards for CL type. (Depending on core
selected).

All inside surfaces of module body (3/4" thick)
All adjustable shelves (3/4" thick)
All top surfaces above 72" (3/4" thick)

All inside surfaces of door and/or drawer fronts (3/4" thick)
All stretchers (1 1/2" thick)
Type D
Surfaces:
Optional
material all sound and suitable for intended use.
Surfaces
include:
All top rails for base cabinets (1" thick)
All back cleats and/or glue blocks (3/4" thick)
All knee space concealed frame parts (3/4" thick)
Sub-strates:
3/4", 1", & 1
1/2”Particle Board: mat‑formed, wood particle-board which meets or exceeds
the latest Commercial Standards, ANSI or NPA Standards for 40‑lb. medium
density board, grade 1‑M‑3. (Veneered plywood core upon request same
thickness)
Hardboard:
Meets or exceeds the latest Federal Specifications and Commercial Standards
for "Tempered Hardboard" ‑ smooth one side.
Edges:
3mm PVC edges
are in standard colors, 3mm PVC is applied to all edges by a high
temperature, hotmelt, edge-banding machine or GP‑28 laminate "specified".
Glue Bonds:
All adhesives
used are those recommended by laminate and/or edging manufacturers.
Adhesives are applied per manufacturer instructions under pressure and/or
heat and pressure methods under controlled conditions.
